"October 7th/8th 2021 was possibly the worst, scariest day of our parenting lives. We learned River had suffered an ischemic stroke and we were off to Iowa city by ambulance for the unknown. The next day once people learned and small-town word traveled fast, someone had reached out to the group because myself and Brandon would stay in Iowa city as long as needed, while my mom stayed home with our daughters. The group raised and sent money which helped with food, gas, bills and other expenses. Without the help of the Power of 50, we would have had the finances to worry about on top of just trying to get through the situation as a family. To this day we are grateful and will never forget how this helped our family in a time of unknown."

Yes! Power of Many is a 501(C)(3) non-profit. Donors can deduct contributions under IRS Section 170.

All of it! Power of Many has low overhead, so 100% of your donation goes directly to causes.

“Gives” are the causes that Power of Many presents to the group, allowing members the opportunity to donate and decide the amount they wish to contribute. There is no obligation to donate to every cause presented. The Power of Many board members carefully review all proposed gives and determine whether each cause aligns with the goals and values of our group. Reasons a cause may not qualify for a give include the availability of better resources outside of this organization or if another fundraiser, such as a GoFundMe campaign, is already actively supporting the same cause. This ensures that our efforts are focused where they can have the most meaningful impact.

Yes! We just need to know which cause you want to support. Different needs are shared in our The Power of Many Facebook group, and donors can give any amount to those causes. You can also give to our general fund, which goes to the most urgent needs. Power of Many also supports specific yearly causes. More details about these yearly causes are under Past Gives.
